Meta Platforms Inc., the parent company of Facebook and Instagram, said Friday it removed a new artificial intelligence model for Instagram days after debuting the feature.
The company had advertised the model, called Muse Image AI, on Tuesday as a “creative partner” that people could use to generate AI photos for their social media pages, Meta said.
The feature drew immediate public backlash, prompting Meta to take it down, the company said.
