Missouri Circuit Judge Jerri Zhang on Thursday restored access to medication abortion, siding with Planned Parenthood in a lawsuit that challenges about 30 state statutes limiting abortion access, the ruling said.
The decision came more than a year after state residents voted to legalize abortion access, the ruling said.
Planned Parenthood sued the state, according to court filings filed in the case.
The ruling said the court’s decision allows Missourians to access medication abortion, according to the document.
