Sen. Chris Coons released from hospital after crash

Sen. Chris Coons, D-Del., was released from Beebe Hospital after being treated for minor injuries sustained as a passenger in a car crash, he said Sunday.

Coons said Sunday: “Earlier today, a Delaware driver experienced a medical incident and collided with several cars, including one in which I was a passenger. I was transported to Beebe Hospital and treated for minor injuries….”

He said the incident involved a driver’s medical emergency and multiple vehicle collisions, according to his statement.
