Viewers file FCC complaints over Bad Bunny Super Bowl halftime performance, TMZ says
Viewers filed complaints with the Federal Communications Commission over Bad Bunny’s Super Bowl halftime performance, TMZ reported.
TMZ published excerpts of complaints that alleged explicit conduct during the show, including a claim that viewers were “forced to see a man’s penis and balls,” the outlet wrote. Other complaints cited the performer grabbing his crotch and two dancers allegedly grabbing each other’s breasts, TMZ said.
Some complainants criticized the lyrical content as “inappropriate” and “sexualized,” and one described the performer as speaking in a “demonic tongue,” according to the documents obtained by TMZ.
Others said they were upset that the performance was in Spanish and therefore difficult to understand, TMZ reported.
It was not immediately clear whether the FCC had received the specific complaints obtained by TMZ or whether it planned any action in response.
