The right northbound lane of Interstate 55 between Interstate 20 and High Street (Exit 96B) in Jackson is closed until about 4 p.m. Aug. 25 for bridge inspection and repair, the Mississippi Department of Transportation said.
The department posted the notice on its social media account and said the closure affects the stretch of I-55 northbound just north of I-20, at Exit 96B.
MDOT linked to a traffic map showing the lane closure at https://www.mdottraffic.com/?a=563745, the department said.
The department did not provide additional details about the inspection or repair timeline, MDOT said.
