Local animal rescue places several dogs in homes, looking for help to treat sick local animals

Thanks to volunteer efforts, the Animal Foster & Rescue of Tippah County has made a difference in more animals’ lives over the past couple of weeks.

What started as a foster home for the senior dog that was mentioned in the last update, has turned into a forever home for “Dolly”. Also, “Bella”, who needed to be place in a one-dog-only home found her perfect forever family. Several more puppies have made their way to rescues and homes in other states. The rescue is now asking the community for help with some urgent cases.

“We currently have a few puppies in holding who have tested positive for parvovirus and will require treatment to stand a fighting chance against this. We also have a few dogs requiring treatment for mange. Donations are greatly appreciated and needed to pursue treatments,” according to a volunteer from the rescue.

You can find them on Facebook by searching “Animal Foster & Rescue of Tippah County”. Please message them if you are able to help!
