Mississippi Highway Patrol to have “all available officers” on roadways
The MHP wrote over 1000 tickets during last years Fourth of July Holiday.
They will be setting up checkpoints to look for impaired drivers.
Last year, they wrote over 100 DUI tickets and investigated nearly 200 crashes with 3 fatalities.
Also, they will be checking insurance information according to the New Mississippi Laws involving auto insurance.
