Wings of Rescue is a rescue located in Washington state and since starting their non-profit, they have flown over 40,000 animals to safety. Tippah County Animal Rescue sent four foster dogs on this flight, two of which had been waiting for their forever homes for over a year.
Flight load time was 5:45 AM at West Memphis airport on Valentines Day, so a trio of local rescue volunteers left Ripley at 3 a.m. to ensure their dogs made it there on time.
“We had to go to back to our jobs and work the rest of the day, but it was worth it to get these dogs to safety,” says one of Tippah County Animal Rescue’s representatives, Kayla Myers.
Valentines Day was really all about love this year for these lucky dogs and cats, who can now feel safe.
