The Pine Grove Lady Panthers are moving on in the 1A state playoffs after sweeping the West Union Lady Eagles.
Next stop? The north half championship.
Pine Grove won 6-5 on Friday and 3-1 at home on Saturday to wrap up the division title
Lizzie Meeks pitched a gem, Allie Orman went 4-4 including a double. Ellie Fryar dropped several perfect bunts. Bella Jumper and Delainey Pannell drove in key runs and Ashley Tomlinson played outstanding defense in center, ending the game with a catch and celebration.
