13th case of potentially deadly West Nile Virus reported in Mississippi
The 13th case of human West Nile Virus has been reported in Mississippi according to the Department of health. West nile killed 2 Mississippians last year.
There are several steps you can take to prevent the virus.
• Use a recommended mosquito repellent.
• Cover arms and legs with long, light-colored clothing.
• Avoid mosquito-prone areas in the mornings and evenings, when activity is highest.
• Remove sources of standing water around your home where mosquitoes can breed.
