Pair of north Mississippi inmates escape MDOC custody

A pair of inmates from north Mississippi escaped MDOC custody earlier today. It is possible they travel from the location they escaped from back towards this area.

According to the MDOC:

2 ESCAPEES WANTED: Christopher Parmenter and Andrew Carter

Parmenter, #207178, (left) and Carter, #187562,(right) escaped the Noxubee County Transitional Center in Macon about 7:45 p.m. Sunday night.

Both men have been convicted of burglary.

Parmenter, convicted in Marshall County, is on house arrest.

Carter, convicted in Union County, is on parole.
