Walnut citizens meeting in front of town hall to have prayer meeting for upcoming school year

Citizens of Walnut have plans to meet Saturday, August 4th to have a prayer meeting over the schools, teachers and children for the upcoming school year.

Similar prayer meetings are being planned at churches around the county this weekend.

From one the organizers:

Tomorrow morning at 8 am, myself and anyone who would like to, can meet me in front of town hall in Walnut to say a prayer over our children before school starts Monday. No scheduled program. No ties to the town. No denomination. Just Christian’s praying.
