Winter weather advisory upgraded starting at noon tomorrow
The winter weather advisory for our area has been upgraded to a greater likelihood of snow, sleet, ice and freezing rain. The national weather service sent out alerts about the advisory on Tuesday.
According to the NWS:

CST THURSDAY…
* WHAT…light snow…sleet and freezing rain.
* WHERE…across Eastern Arkansas…West Tennessee and portions of
north Mississippi.
* WHEN…from 3 AM CST Wednesday morning through 6 AM CST Thursday
morning.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…bridges…overpasses and secondary roads
will be must vulnerable to the falling wintry precipitation.

A Winter Weather Advisory means that periods of snow, sleet, or
freezing rain will cause travel difficulties. Be prepared for
slippery roads and limited visibilities, and use caution while
driving.
