The Mississippi Department of Transportation said State Route 178 between State Route 30 and State Route 9 in Union County will be closed from 7 a.m. Tuesday, July 7, to 7 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 15 for slide repair.
MDOT said the road will be closed to through traffic between New Albany and Blue Springs. Signage will be in place to advise motorists of the closure, the agency said.
Motorists were advised by MDOT to slow down and be on high alert for roadside crews while repairs are underway.
