TIPPAH RESIDENT,SHERIFF DEPUTY IN HOSPITAL AFTER WRECKING CHASING SUSPECT

A Tippah County resident that is a sheriffs deputy for the Alcorn County sheriffs department is in the hospital after wrecking while pursuing a suspect according to family of the deputy.

Riley Jeter was in a vehicle accident after pursuing a suspect early Sunday. He is reported to have a fractured hip but is in stable condition at Magnolia Regional Hospital.
