Northeast Mississippi Community College said President Ford and First Lady LuAnne Ford hosted an employee luncheon at their home to thank staff for their work this year.

President Ricky G. Ford told the TigerTalk podcast that student input has led to new study spaces, a MakerSpace and steps to address mental health, affordability and safety.

NEMCC said spring orientation sessions let students meet advisors, complete enrollment steps and begin feeling at home on campus. The college says two summer sessions are still open for registration.

Students in the Christian Nursing Organization’s ADN Nursing program donated baby items to three local pregnancy resource centers as part of a spring service project, the group said.

An organization thanked its facilities team for work last week, saying staff supported orientations, lawn events and a science fair and worked behind the scenes to keep operations running smoothly, the organization said.

Northeast Mississippi Community College said it hosted 18 orientation sessions for district seniors and has scheduled summer sessions on June 4 and June 18. The college said it also offered make-up and out-of-district sessions.
