Sheriff’s Department seeks tips after County Road 5111 burglary

The Prentiss County Sheriff’s Department is asking for help identifying a vehicle and two men after a burglary reported Sept. 10 on County Road 5111, the department said.

A family member arriving at the residence saw a black, older-model Chevrolet Tahoe, believed to be about a 2005 model, leave the property and travel south on County Road 5111, the department said. The vehicle was described as having the words “FAT CHICKS ONLY” written on the rear glass.

The witness told deputies the vehicle was occupied by two large white men with long beards, the department said.

Anyone who recognizes the vehicle or has information about the burglary is asked to call the Prentiss County Sheriff’s Department at 662-728-6232 or Crime Stoppers of Northeast Mississippi at 800-773-8477. The department said anonymous tips can also be submitted through the P3 Tips app. The department said information could help investigators solve the case.
