Haleigh Leach says affordability, community drew her to Northeast

Haleigh Leach said she chose Northeast because it was affordable and that she found instructors who knew her by name, advisors who cared and friends who became family, Leach said.

Leach said getting involved on campus and joining Phi Theta Kappa opened the door to scholarship opportunities that helped her continue her education after leaving Northeast.

“No other college has a community like Northeast. Everyone from your instructors to Financial Aid wants you to succeed,” Leach said.

Northeast’s website says students there are “never just another student” and directs prospective students to NEMCC.edu to get started, the site says.
