Northeast to hold active-shooter drill at Patterson Hall

Northeast said it will partner with the Prentiss County Sheriff’s Office and the Booneville Police Department for active-shooter training July 21 and July 22 at Patterson Hall.

The school warned that people on campus may see an increased law enforcement presence during the exercises, Northeast said.

Northeast said the events are training exercises and that there is no threat to the campus.

The school thanked the campus community for its cooperation as officials carry out the drills to help keep the campus safe, the statement said.
