Northeast Mississippi Community College to host Tiger Band Camp Aug. 3-6

Northeast Mississippi Community College said it will host Tiger Band Camp for the 2026-27 Northeast Tiger Band Aug. 3-6 on the college campus.

The college said the week will feature rehearsals, meals and daily activities aimed at preparing students for the season and building camaraderie.

The college urged participants to review the full camp schedule so they are ready for check-in, rehearsals, meals and other events.

The school advised attendees to stay hydrated, wear tennis shoes, take advantage of breaks and familiarize themselves with the signs of heat exhaustion and heat stroke amid Mississippi summer temperatures.

The college said it looks forward to seeing the sound, spirit and tradition of the Northeast Tiger Band come to life at camp.
