Blue Mountain Christian University will hold Gratitude Day on Sept. 9 on the lawn in the center of campus, the university said. The event is open to attendees on a drop-in basis from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Organizers said participants can write thank-you cards, enjoy free food and enter drawings for prizes.
The university encouraged students and staff to stop by, grab food and take a few minutes to show someone gratitude, according to the announcement.
In a social media post, the university promoted the event with hashtags including #GratitudeDay and #BlueMountainChristianUniversity.
