NEMCC hosted a session in its Career Connections series in which Kirk Chism discussed careers in emergency medical services and introduced a new paramedic program, the college said.
Kirk Chism, MBA, NRP, FP-C, NEMCC paramedic director, shared his personal journey into emergency medical services and described the experiences and choices that shaped his career, NEMCC said.
NEMCC said Chism introduced students to the new NEMCC Paramedic Program and highlighted the range of career opportunities within EMS, including frontline, advanced and specialized roles.
The college said the Career Connections series aims to expose students to career options and to show that career paths can begin by exploring one opportunity at a time. NEMCC thanked Chism for participating in the series.
