BMCU School of Education wins 2026 MAPE Governor’s Award

The BMCU School of Education was named a recipient of the 2026 Mississippi Association of Partners in Education Governor’s Award, and the award was signed by Gov. Tate Reeves, the university said.

BMCU said the recognition was presented by the Alcorn School District and highlights partnerships between the university and local schools.

The university said the award underscores meaningful collaborations that strengthen schools, support educators and students, and create lasting opportunities in local communities.

BMCU congratulated the School of Education on the honor and said it will continue to focus on collaboration and service, the university added.
