The Mississippi Department of Public Safety and the Alcorn School District were named recipients of the 2026 Mississippi Association of Partners in Education Governor’s Award, the department said.
The Mississippi Department of Public Safety (MDPS) said strong partnerships with schools and communities help create opportunities for Mississippi students to learn, grow and succeed.
The department thanked the Alcorn School District for the recognition and said it is proud of the partnership and looks forward to continuing work together, according to the statement.
