The Booneville Police Department said a bicyclist was killed in a hit-and-run Wednesday, July 8, 2026, at about 2:20 a.m. on West Chambers Drive near Jim Drewery Road.
Police said the bicyclist was struck by a vehicle and the driver fled the scene after the collision.
The department said the investigation is ongoing and asked anyone who may have witnessed the incident or has information to call the Booneville Police Department at 662-728-5611 or submit an anonymous tip through Crime Stoppers at 1-800-773-TIPS.
“Your information, no matter how small it may seem, could be vital to this investigation,” the department said.
