The Burnside Music Festival starts at noon today in historic downtown Ripley. The event features live music beginning at 2 p.m., along with arts and crafts vendors open from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m.
Food trucks will be serving food starting at noon, and a rib and wing cookoff will take place throughout the day. Admission and parking are free, organizers said.
The festival aims to bring the community together for a day of entertainment and local vendor shopping, according to event organizers.
