Burnside Music Festival returns to Ripley for R.L. Burnside’s 100th birthday

The Burnside Music Festival returns to Ripley this weekend to mark what organizers called R.L. Burnside’s 100th birthday, Ripley Main Street said.

Ripley Main Street said the event will feature Hill Country Blues, live music, barbecue and other attractions.

The organization described this year’s festival as an “extra special event” honoring the late blues musician’s centennial, according to the post.
