The Capitol Police graduated participants from its eight-day April 2026 Citizens’ Academy, the agency said.
The academy provided a comprehensive look at Capitol Police operations and offered participants a deeper understanding of the work officers and staff perform daily, the Capitol Police said.
The program was designed for residents of the CCID and provided an inside perspective on the agency’s work, the Capitol Police said. The agency said the academy aims to encourage continued conversations, stronger relationships and greater community involvement.
The Capitol Police congratulated the graduates, the agency said.
