The National Weather Service in Memphis said there is a 30 to 60 percent chance of showers returning Friday into Friday night south of Interstate 40, according to a social media post.
The agency said drier conditions are expected after Friday, with high temperatures in the 60s and 70s for the weekend.
Drier weather is also expected into early next week, the National Weather Service added.
