Cool start, warming trend this week; showers possible near Tennessee River

Cool, pleasant temperatures are expected today, followed by a warming trend through the remainder of the week, forecasters said.

Forecasters said there is a 30% to 60% chance of showers and thunderstorms near the Tennessee River today.

Otherwise, forecasters said, most of the week should be mainly rain-free.
