FEMA offers individual assistance after May storms in five Mississippi counties
FEMA said Individual Assistance is available for residents of Franklin, Lamar, Lawrence, Lincoln and Wilkinson counties after severe storms struck May 6-7, 2026.
Disaster Service Centers are open for anyone who needs help filling out an application in person, FEMA said.
People who cannot go in person may apply online at DisasterAssistance.gov, by calling 800-621-FEMA (3362) or by using the free FEMA app, the agency said. Applicants should use disaster number DR-4922 when applying, FEMA said.
