FEMA has opened applications for residents affected by Tropical Storm Arthur in Mississippi. Eligible residents in Hancock, Harrison, Pearl River, and Stone counties may qualify for FEMA Individual Assistance, according to the agency.
Eligible individuals can apply through three methods: online at DisasterAssistance.gov, by calling 800-621-FEMA (3362), or via the free FEMA app. Basic eligibility requirements include U.S. citizenship or qualified status, identity verification through Social Security Number or accepted documents, proof of home ownership or occupancy, and documentation of unmet needs not covered by insurance.
