Grenada High NJROTC collects more than 20 bags of trash on U.S. 51
Twenty-seven cadets from Grenada High School’s Naval Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps conducted a roadside cleanup along U.S. 51 on Saturday, Aug. 22, the Grenada School District said.
The district said the group, participating in the Adopt-A-Highway Program, collected more than 20 bags of trash during the event in Grenada County.
The school district encouraged residents interested in volunteer cleanup efforts to visit GoMDOT.com/DontTrashMS for information, according to the release.
The cleanup was organized by the Grenada School District and the Naval Education and Training Command, the release said.
