I-10 westbound reopens after vehicle fire near Gautier, MDOT says

Traffic on Interstate 10 westbound in Jackson County resumed at 3:25 p.m. Tuesday after a vehicle fire that caused delays, the Mississippi Department of Transportation said.

MDOT posted that the fire occurred on I-10 westbound before the Gautier exit, Exit 61, and affected westbound lanes. The agency advised motorists to seek alternate routes while the incident was active.
