The Mississippi Department of Transportation said Interstate 55 southbound at State Route 570 (Exit 18) in Pike County will be temporarily closed from 1 a.m. to 5 a.m. Wednesday, July 22, for work tied to the I-55 resurfacing project.
MDOT said crews will repair a pavement buckle on I-55 during the closure.
Southbound traffic will be routed onto the entrance and exit ramps at State Route 570 while the work is underway, MDOT said.
MDOT posted a traffic map showing the closure on its traffic website.
