MDOT crews clear I-55 debris after severe weather

The Mississippi Department of Transportation said crews were clearing debris from south Mississippi roads following last night’s severe weather.

MDOT said maintenance crews were working on Interstate 55 south of Brookhaven.

The department urged drivers to slow down and stay alert when they encounter crews on the road, saying it wants “everyone to get home safely.”
