MDOT: U.S. 49 ramps, I-20 lanes to close overnight in Rankin County

The Mississippi Department of Transportation said crews will close ramps from U.S. 49 to I-20 and close lanes on I-20 overnight for bridge rail repair.

MDOT said the closures will begin at 9 p.m. June 24 and continue until approximately 6 a.m. June 25 in Rankin County. The agency identified the affected movements as the U.S. 49 northbound to I-20 westbound ramp and the U.S. 49 southbound to I-20 eastbound ramp.

MDOT said crews also will close the right lane of eastbound I-20 and the left lane of westbound I-20 under the U.S. 49 bridge.
