The Mississippi Department of Transportation said curb work tied to an interstate resurfacing project will intermittently close the entrance and exit ramps for I-59 at U.S. 49 South (Exit 67A) in Hattiesburg beginning June 10 and continuing until the work is complete.

MDOT said the closures will occur one at a time in this order: the ramp from U.S. 49 North to I-59 South; the ramp from I-59 South to U.S. 49 South; the ramp from U.S. 49 South to I-59 North; and the ramp from I-59 North to U.S. 49 North.

MDOT advised that permitted loads must use an alternate route during the closures.
