MDOT urges fans to check traffic app before game day

The Mississippi Department of Transportation urged college football fans to check its traffic tools for driving conditions before heading to games, the agency said.

MDOT said motorists should use the free MDOT Traffic app or visit MDOTtraffi.com for the latest updates on road conditions and incidents.

The agency said checking conditions in advance can help drivers avoid traffic delays and plan the best route to tailgates and kickoff. MDOT provided additional game-day tips at https://bit.ly/4xDrAqi, the agency said.

MDOT encouraged fans to know conditions before they go and to allow extra time for travel on game days, the agency said.
