Midsouth to warm into 90s; storms hold off until Sunday

Forecasters say residents across the Midsouth can expect moderate temperatures and lower humidity over the next few days.

By Friday, the region will feel like early summer, with some locations reaching 90 degrees, about 10 degrees above normal, forecasters said.

The milder, drier conditions are expected to persist through the end of the workweek, forecasters said.

Showers and thunderstorms are not expected until at least Sunday, forecasters said.
