The Mississippi Department of Transportation said crews in District 1 have reached milestones on major capacity projects, bridge repairs and new overlays over the past couple of months.
MDOT said the work in northeast Mississippi has included major capacity improvements, bridge repairs and a series of overlays carried out by district maintenance and construction crews.
MDOT said the update covers projects in District 1, which spans Alcorn, Chickasaw, Choctaw, Clay, Itawamba, Lee, Lowndes, Monroe, Oktibbeha, Pontotoc, Prentiss, Tippah, Tishomingo, Union, Webster and Winston counties.
