Mississippi fire chief addresses CIC staff; Pamela McAfee honored

Fire Chief Kelly Elliott, director of the Mississippi State Fire Academy, addressed members of the CIC professional development program during a recent ‘All Personnel’ staff meeting, the Mississippi Department of Public Safety said.

“Chief Elliott is an outstanding leader, and his words today were meaningful and impactful. We appreciate him taking the time to invest in our staff members,” Director McElhenney said in the department’s post.

The department’s post said CIC also recognized Pamela McAfee for outstanding service and dedication and thanked her for her commitment to serving Mississippi.

The Mississippi Department of Public Safety said photos accompanied the post on its official account.
