Mississippi to replace driver’s licenses after scanning problem
The Mississippi Driver Service Bureau said it has identified an issue that prevented some driver’s licenses from scanning properly at Transportation Security Administration checkpoints and other locations.
The bureau said affected customers should schedule an appointment online for June 23 or later at the Driver Service Bureau location nearest them to receive a replacement license.
The replacement will be provided free, the bureau said.
The bureau apologized for the inconvenience and thanked customers for their patience as it works to resolve the issue.
