NAPSA spotlights APS workers, invites professionals to share ‘Faces of APS’ stories

The National Adult Protective Services Association is urging the public to visit its “Faces of APS” page to learn about work to protect vulnerable adults, NAPSA said.

NAPSA said the page highlights a range of Adult Protective Services professionals. The organization noted that workers identified as MDHS APS employees appear among the notable faces featured on the page.

In a post promoting the page, NAPSA invited APS professionals to share the feelings behind cases that shaped their careers, specifying that contributors should not post case details. The organization asked contributors to reflect on resilience, human dignity and what it means “to truly show up for someone,” NAPSA said.

NAPSA asked professionals to share a word, sentence or a short story in the comments, and described the space as “your space,” according to the post. The organization used the hashtags #FacesOfAPS, #APSCommunity and #NAPSA in the post.

Visitors can view the featured profiles and contribute reflections on the NAPSA page, the organization said.
