Northeast Mississippi Community College urges adults to ‘take the first step’ with adult education

Northeast Mississippi Community College (NEMCC) Adult Education urged adults to enroll, saying in a social media post, ‘Your story isn’t over — it’s just getting started.’ The post encouraged people to pursue education and training through the program.

The post said every graduate featured ‘made the decision to take one step toward a better future,’ and that steps such as finishing a diploma, building new skills or creating opportunities for family members can be transformative, the program said.

NEMCC Adult Education told prospective students it is never too late to invest in themselves and invited them to ‘take the first step with NEMCC Adult Education,’ the post said.

The message was shared with several promotional hashtags, including #NEMCCAE and #SkillUpMississippi, the program said, as part of an effort to highlight adult education and workforce training opportunities in the region.
