The National Weather Service in Memphis, Tennessee, said gusty winds are expected this afternoon across portions of northeast Arkansas and the Missouri Bootheel.
The agency said sustained winds could reach 25 mph, with gusts of 40 to 45 mph in the affected areas.
The National Weather Service advised residents to secure loose objects before heading out this morning.
The agency also made a light-hearted remark in its post, saying it hoped “May the Fourth” would not turn anyone’s trampoline into a frisbee this afternoon.
