An open mic night is scheduled for Friday, June 19, at The Cut-Off, 204 S. Commerce Street, in downtown Ripley, organizers said. The event will run from 7 to 9 p.m.
Organizers said singers, musicians, poets and comedians are welcome to sign up for time slots by scanning a QR code or using a sign-up link: https://app.seemylegacy.com/community/2637/campaign/9417.
The event is billed as family-friendly, and organizers asked performers to bring music ready to play via Bluetooth.
As part of the Downtown After Hours series, organizers said participating downtown shops will remain open until 7 p.m. on the remaining Fridays in June and encouraged visitors to shop and dine downtown during the evening.
