Downtown shops to stay open late; Elvis bingo set for Friday at The Cut-Off

Downtown shops will stay open with extended hours until 7 p.m. Friday for Downtown After Hours, Ripley Main Street said. After shopping, Elvis Bingo Night will begin at 7 p.m. at The Cut-Off, 204 S. Commerce Street, the group said.

Ripley Main Street said Elvis Bingo Night will feature Elvis music, bingo and prize giveaways. Organizers described the event as family-friendly and open to all ages.

Attendees are asked to bring lawn chairs, Ripley Main Street said, and to enjoy the evening after supporting local businesses in the downtown area.

Ripley Main Street said the activities are part of an effort to encourage residents to shop local and to provide community entertainment in downtown Ripley.
