Parts of Mississippi are under a marginal risk for severe weather today, forecasters said.
Isolated severe storms are possible, and damaging wind gusts are the primary threat, forecasters said.
Forecasters said the greatest threat is expected between 2 p.m. and 10 p.m.
Forecasters urged residents to stay weather-aware, keep up with the latest forecast and have multiple ways to receive weather warnings in case conditions become severe.
