Pontotoc County said in a notice that the Disaster Service Center at the Pontotoc County Agri-Center, 430 CJ Harding Jr. Drive, will be closed Saturday, May 30, and will reopen Monday, June 1.
The notice said it is not necessary to visit a disaster service center to apply for Federal Emergency Management Agency assistance. Individuals can apply online at www.DisasterAssistance.gov, by calling 1-800-621-FEMA (3362), or by using the FEMA App.
The county directed residents to the FEMA website, toll-free number and mobile app for help with applications, the notice said.
